It’s hard to compete with an epic storyline told over decades of the main character’s life.
The DS is home to a surprisingly robust collection of Dragon Quest games, and while it’s tempting to declare Dragon Quest IX (which has yet to be ported anywhere else) as the best offering on the handheld, even that game still comes up short against Hand of the Heavenly Bride.
